Uh, I think I will just read stories that are finished. I get frustrated enough just thinking of all the stories here that I do not have time to read. I am terrified myself to put up a chapter of a story that I have not finshed writing yet. I only did that once and then rushed to finish it so I wouldn't leave the readers dangling. I don't ever want to have that feeling again, so I refuse to post chapters one by one unless the story is already completely finished. I think it is unfair to the readers to leave a story unfinished, even if it is a very good story and the reader has enjoyed the first part of it. But that is just my humble opinion.

[glum] I know. Forgotten Time tooke me over 2 years, which means I felt kinda sick over it for two years every time I realised *I* was one of those left-ya-hanging bastards whom *I* hate so much. And I still vaguely feel that way over my unfinished ekayak series as well. One day I fully intend to finish it....but who knows when that day will be?

But I will finish it. It may end up being irredeemably awful, but it will get done, God willin' and crick don't rise.

I just looked at my stories. It looks like every time I started posting a story it was approximately 1 month between chapters. The dreams of great reviews and the fear of disaster drove me forwards to completion. I would have never been able to finish without the hope of encouraging feedback right around the next corner. Waiting to finish the story first was not an option. My husband (a writer) also warns that once you tell a story, you lose interest in it. I might have lost interest in my story before I got it all posted if I had finished it first. I did have an outline, which was a great comfort. That's how I knew I could finish.

Looks like the series as a whole took me 3 years! With like a 1.5 year break between "Reunion" and "Brainstorm"

As for enterprikayak's wonderful NC-17 thing with the babies. Remember how I kept warning you in the comments to "Stop right there! It's perfect" Don't say another word, just add, "And they lived happily ever after."

Ha! I think the dot is covering the whole of the Netherlands . That what happens when you live in one of the smallest countries in the world (with all 16 milj. of them!).

I remember coming back to the Netherlands after two years abroad and after a really traumatic experience and it was May. The Netherlands is so beautiful in May. Green fields with black and white cows, blooming tree's, all the flowers are showing all their colors, the sky was like it should be, big and large, blue and white, the sun was shining (May is mostly sunny), it was like the whole country welcomed me.
