Say, did anyone else see the pilot of Dollhouse on Friday? I, ehum, "acquired" it.
Anyway, it was a bit underwhelming. I know it's unfair to judge a show just on the pilot, but I felt that it somehow lacked a certain Joss Whedon-ness. No witty banter or funny one-liners. I'm also unsure about the premise and if it can sustain a prolonged series since the main characters' memories are wiped clean at the end. Talk about reset button! But I hope Joss can pull it off and introduce his story-arcs.
To be honest I think this show will get cancelled after the initial 13 or so episodes. This is Fox, remember, and it has the Friday night timeslot of death.
But Eliza Dushku was smokin' hot!
Damn, I don't think she's ever looked better. Especially in that little white dress at the beginning. Rowr!
She also precipitated my change of avatar. More Eliza hotness avs can be found here (scroll down a bit).
