Maybe a teeny little extra reassurance that our feedback hasn't completely disappeared forever? I mean, I know it hasn't, but I'm still freaking out here.

I could see the feedback on the latest chapter of Alelou's story, but was unable to reply.

The comment page you are looking for has moved or does not exist.

But maybe it's good to give that particular chapter's feedback a rest.

Yeah, that's what I got when I tried to post.

I only checked a couple of my own stories and the feedback is still gone.

Over on Mozilla I got a completely different version that looked that it must be the new format, but without any specific chapters of any stories listed in the titles, which is a little problematic (how would you know there's a new chapter up?). AND my disclaimer page had no chapter links, which is more problematic. Then that disappeared and went back to the old one, but none of the links would open for me.

Guess I'll just wait and see how this all settles out.

Well, I'm waiting to hear back from Mike to see if we can have the new chapters added...

Anyway, we might be able to have the new chapter numbers listed, but it's really not a problem because if a new chapter is added, for one that will put that story title at the top of the list, and two it will date it, so it won't be hard to know when something's been updated since the last time you saw it. But I'm having Mike check on that.

Alelou are you still seeing those SQL errors in Mozilla? Cuz I was seeing them, only w/ the line 400 indicated, and Mike has fixed that. If he hasn't fixed yours, I already PM'd him, he'll figure it out. Comments are back for me, on everything, I see them everywhere. They were never gone, they just weren't being called up correctly because the guy who wrote our first MCPS comment system (not Dark) didn't do a very good job.

Remember guys that this is a remarkable achievement... Mike built this from scratch and in just some weeks' time. It's only been online for about 9 hours and he's also been at the PM ready to fix anything I mention to him like in real time, so he's done an amazing job. This has gone off REMARKABLY well in a very short span of time.

He even had a witty star trek remark, "Cap'n, thar be whales!" when he finished uploading it

I can't tell you what's happening in my Mozilla, because not a single link on the fanfic page opens for me. When I right click for it to open in a new window, I get a blank page. (But other links on other sites do work.)

In MSN Explorer, I think I'm getting the OLD fanfic page, despite refreshing, and the comment boxes still contain that error.

I'm still exploring the new changes. But, I've got to say, I'm not liking the new comment boxes...at all. It's all very claustrophobic. If you ask me, it will simply encourage short one-sentence/one-word replies.

Disappointing.

My mistake. I was defaulting to the wrong page in Mozilla. I do see comments there now. I guess we need a new address to get to the new page? Won't we need a redirect page to make sure people get to the updated site if they're coming from a favorites menu or something like that?

The comments boxes aren't bothering too much except that all the line endings are gone, and the html codes are sitting in there looking kinda weird.

The lettering seems sharper, harder, a little less friendly. But I will see what I think in a couple of days because I may get used to it. And for not having to code stories, I'd put up with a lot more than a change in the font!
