I only picked up on a few of the lyrics as I was concentrating on the dialogue, but it sounded like a cool song so I was asking so I could download it and hear the whole thing without following the show.

That was SUCH a great episode!

I mean, SERIOUSLY, who did they just hire to write? The musical ambiance in the background like that song yall just mentioned, shows like House and Life have been doing that successfully forever, it's about damn time TSCC gets the hint. It's like the opening season's scene with Samson and Delilah. That just made it AWESOME.

Anyway, I really loved this episode because both John and Derrek finally acted like men. But to tell you the truth, I think it was i the last episode that I was a little disappointed. I was watching Derrek, when he found Jesse w/ the bruises and Jesse was like saying how John needs to be the one to kill her. At FIRST, when Derrek said "You really thought this through", I thought he instantly put it together - her plan, who Riley was, everything. I was like "DAMN right, that's the Derrek we know. Always observant, always thinking, never trusting." But then he said something else that made me think that wasn't the case, he was just talking about the one little thing she said. That disappointed me.

But, it was all made up for by seeing John sitting there waiting for Jesse, holy shit. That was so awesome. And having figured it all out was great, too.

Plus, dark as it may have been, the Derrek who pulled the trigger is the Derrek we know. I can appreciate the hell that Jesse went through on that sub trying to defend the T888 captain but I still think she went too far.


Now I feel like an idiot though because I was afraid in my TSCC fic that Jesse killing Riley was "too far"
