You know, I've read that fic twice now and I see Trip taking great pains to care for T'Pol, who appears to be bordering on a nervous breakdown especially in the park. Seems to me she is stepping WAAAAY out of her comfort zone. I'm afraid I just don't see Wise Mother T'Pol there to any great degree.

I do see your point about them still dithering and hesitating instead of stepping confidently into their new future. I don't mind that myself, maybe because this is still a major step forward.
