In South Milwaukee it was in the 30's yesterday morning, in the 50's this morning. It hasn't warmed up past 60 degrees as far as I can tell. I think we are supposed to hit the 70's soon. But it has been a cloudy, rainy, spring with only a few sunny days. I think we got Seattle's weather by mistake, eh?

We've had the cool weather but so far none of the rain, which we need. But I LOVE this weather!!!! I hate heat and humidity. I'm just not a Florida girl anymore.

It is really cold here and my slippers are no where to be found. Maybe tucked away by my kids and to be found in a very strange place. So I have cold feet. I hate cold feet.

(1 minute later) Found a pair of really warm socks. Ahhh, much better.

Finally we're on the right track and it's supposed to be in the 70s this weekend, but still way too chilly at night for my tastes.

And some people say that there's no such thing as global warming and the way we abuse our planet has no effect on the weather...

It seems like we're stuck with endless thunderstorms. Last night was really bad we had a wild storm. Our local tv news station showed a picture someone sent that showed the storm that had turned into a microburst in one end of our city,that turned into a funnel cloud.It almost ended up turning into a tornado on top a shopping center . It was pretty scary for the people who were there at the time.
