Finally! Some information about Connor's Sci-Fi movie...

Well so far it's ripped off Serenity, Star Wars, and Anacraphobia No complaints about CT of course but it's pretty pathetic.

I'll have to watch this tomorrow. Had too heavy a meal too late in the day, will pass out in front of TV.

You'll waste two hours of your life. The two things that made me stick with it was CT and CT was a PILOT!!!! However, he seemed to slip into Trip mode a lot. And the "girl" UG!!!!!!!! It's a good thing there was no romance, I would have turned it off. Oh and someone liked to play Star Trek Voyager Elite Force because the queen bug, well it looked like the boss. Oh and Josh Whedon should sue because they stole Serenity!!!!!!!!!!

Well, it's not like Sci-Fi's original movies are known for their Masterpiece Theater-like quality or anything. I'm not expecting much, just some dirty, sweaty, sexy Connor eye-candy and I'm good.

Precious Cargo was better, and that's saying something. On the other hand, it was less painful to watch than I expected it to be. That's not really saying anything though, since I enjoyed commercial breaks with my book more than the movie.

I'm trying to imagine what the pitch was for this: "We're going to rip off Firefly/Serenity for all essential plot points, except that we'll add a bunch of giant bugs, and carefully avoid the slightest hint of humor or romance. Oh yeah, and we'll put the girl in a skimpy dress. Whaddya say?"

CT didn't have a damned thing to work with, so I don't even want to say he didn't strike me as being particularly in the game for this one. But I honestly thought some of the other actors did a better job.

See I said the creator of Firefly and Serenity should sue! And the cryo girl was no Summer Glau! I didn't think Conner was bad, he's never that even if he's playing Psycho abusive cops, or South African drug dealers. But I got the feeling he didn't know who he was supposed to be... Han Solo's little brother, or Trip. It was odd actually. Anyway I kept swtiching to HSM 3 so you know I wasn't hooked. I honestly couldn't decide which one was more cheesy.

Frankly I'd like sci-fi to do Hades and Persephone with CT and JB. The Greek mythology stuff is always cool even if it's sappy.

He looked to me as if he was just grimly trying to survive the whole damned thing, which was at least technically what the plot called for. Part of his magic in Enterprise is how well he plays off the other people in the scenes with him. I didn't get that feeling here. I got the feeling of a tired American actor with jet lag thinking, Oh Christ, what have I gotten myself into? I need a drink!

They did look as if they were casting fairly closely to Nathan Fillian or whatever his name is, and Summer Glau. It's too bad. I've often thought CT could have handled that Firefly role nicely, even though he doesn't quite have the cute-bad-boy-pouty-mouth thing, but he needed the humor and the romantic sparks that Firefly gave the actors to work with, and there was just nothing like that in this script. In fact, his character is a complete cipher -- he's not even attached to his ship, apparently, and we know little more about him at the end than we did at the beginning.

I haven't seen it and I'm not sure I'll ever manage to, but I believe this was not a role that fits CT, he doesn't have the action hero looks. I think that he would have been much better in a drama, even a not very good one.

I still haven't gotten around to watching it, I just got up. Still, I'm going in knowing that Sci-Fi's movies are just crappy, and they're probably going to get even worse once they change to SyFy.

Well that girl was no Summer Glau in the looks or acting department. When CT says she's "perfect" with a "good figure" I nearly died laughing. I was like "Dude how can you say that with a straight face?" The girl wasn't ugly or anything, just mind-numbingly average. Which would have been fine, but after working with people like Lena Headly and Jolene Blalock it must have been forced. Hey Aquarius tell me what you think of the hair. CT's seemed to be too dark and I won't even begin to describe the Girl's.

Connor's hair has been dark the last few roles he's played. I think it's his natural color, minus the guylites. Will let you know when I see the movie though.

Well yeah I know about the sun-in, but his hair was darker than I expected.

I'm about 20 minutes in this movie and so far it's pretty bad. Connor is way too good for this movie. The girl IS weird looking. Connor looks good although I like him blonde a bit better. The special effects are terrible.

I completely forgot this was on! It would have been fun to see CT in another sci-fi....even if it is slightly rubbish.

I ended up taking my little sister to a Britney Spears concert instead.

Does anyone know if it will be repeated?

I did enjoy seeing Connor in this movie it's the only reason I watched it. and James Kyson Lee I liked as his friend in the movie.
