I completely agree. And you can always ask one of the writers here who you admire to help you give it a little polish if that's what you're worried about. But seriously, more fic is a good thing. 8)

There's no doubt about that. And something tells me I would like very much your stories, SilverBullet. :D
Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four

And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

Good Morning.

Happy Fathers Day to those of you who are fathers or married to one.

Of course to your own fathers.

Writing, I keep reading wonderful writers and seeing what they do. I am learning muchh from that. right now it is just plots. I have to learn how to flesh out characters properly motivations, objectives.

fun thiing for me at least is the imagination of what I would like for TnT.

so, I am going to bore Hell out of you people until I can hit some kind of stride.

You know, Aquarius has these words that she gives out on the board, and people write tiny little snipps inspired by them. Maybe you can start on those. No pressure to post on the main site until you're comfortable, and it's not overwhelming. WARNING: These are addictive! And she hasn't appologized yet. :D ;-)

Aquarius you have aggravated my itch to write and now I have to scratch it.

Damned good thing that my wife wants me to have something to do to stay out of her way. she has been that way since I retired. Can't understand why. I always let her do all of the work so she should be happy.

T-Pol's unvulcan like behaivor. How do you seperate her being vulcan with her being a Female?

I keep having this feeling in some senses that females are universal in some things. so what might be OOC for a vulcan male could be excused in a vulcan female.

I mean a vulcan male's sex drive is so low he has to go nuts every seven years in order to mate and impregnate his wife.

Whereas a vulcan female would have a greater Sex drive because of her need to bear young for the good of the species.

So it would be OOC for a vulcan male to mate outside of marriage because of his low sex drive but a vulcan female could because of her higher sex drive and desire to bear.

This might explain t-Pol's willingness to mate with Trip after she realizes she is in love with him.

Just musing.

Time for a crash course on Vulcan biology. OK Now while very little of this is hard fact, there are some "logical" deductions made of Vulcan biology....

1. A Vulcan woman is physically dependent on her man for her sex drive. This is why women don't go into Plak Tau if they're widows. Of course Trip being human with a very different sex drive than a Vulcan man, would influence T'Pol's hormones in a different way.

2. Vulcans are fertial at any time, but I think that it takes a first Pon Farr to get the ball rolling.

3. A properly bonded couple has one sex drive, meaning if one partner is ready so is the other. This is probably the best biological quirk I have ever seen in an alien race. Imagine all of the frustration avoided. Too bad we humans don't get it.

I don't know what kind of logic that is, but it's not one that would hold up too well in MY universe.

I would be very interested in seeing the canonical support for this.

Well sorry Professor, there isn't any that I know of, but there are a few "canonical" mentions that support it. Biggest one comes from Blood Fever, in which Tuvok says that Vulcan males link to their mates in order to induce the blood fever. Also there's the little fact that Saavik says "Pon Farr, Vulcan MALES must endure it every seventh year of their adult lives." Direct quote. If woman had the same make-up she would have said Vulcans not "Vulcan Males" There is an episode of VOY where the Doc gives a lecture on a gland in the Vulcan brain that is needed for reproduction. Finally, in Amok Time T'Pring wasn't in heat along with Spock, now if they had been properly bonded she would have been even if she called Kali-fee. But than I didn't say I had hard evidence did I? Most of what's written about Vulcan biology comes from books, and other non canonical sources.

J U S T K I D D I N G!!!.

I try to help as much as I can. However, wife says that I am too clumsy.

she hates to have anyone mess with her house. She know where everything goes
has a routine that she has followed for years and I get my fingers in it I mess up things.

When I was first retired I was a a househusbnad. did the cleaning, washing, cooking, shopping too care of the dog, you name it.

After my wife quit her job she wanted her house back. We moved to Arizona and I was told that is it.

So, I try to help as best I can given the chance.

OKAY???

Warpgirl, Vulcan females are fertile anytime. I am not sure if I saw it on Entrprise or some other Trek series or read it in a fanfic but I believe that Vulcans only start to ovulate when their mate enters Pon Farr and they start to get the urge to mate with him.

I mean t-Pol has been galloping around the galaxy as a Covert agent of Vulcan, been on Earth for a year in the consulate and on Enterprise for four years. You say she is fertile at all times. Wouldn't that ovulation give her the urge to bear a child. to have Sex to imprgnate and fertilize the egg?

I know that human females are supposed to get a littlle Randy just before their Peiods. So too might Vulcan females.

I am out of my depth on this subject. Womens workings and plumbing have always been a mystery to me.

Well mine is pretty much completely screwed, so but you're right, during that "time" I always went crazy. But I also said I believed she would only start ovulating when her "mate" had his first Pon Farr. So Trip's humanity could make things different.
