Rajin & Similitude

I've wondered why Rajin would go after T'Pol too. It suggests that rather than being a poor put-upon victim forced to carry out a specific assignment, she's carefully and thoroughly doing the job when she notices there's a different being in an important role on the ship. But later, in front of the Xindi, she seems sympathetic to the Humans. So it's somewhat contradictory, if you ask me, unless we think the Xindi are also interested in the Vulcans, and frankly I don't know why they would be at this point.

As far as T'Pol not resisting, I think they were suggesting that Rajin could 'put the glamour' on her too (i.e. some kind of mental whammy) much as she did with Archer and Hoshi.

Well I don't think she was sympathetic to the humans at all. When she says T'Pol "Shouldn't have resisted." I lost any of the faint sympathy I had. As for her putting the glamour on T'Pol, I preferr to think of it as some sort of telepathic hypnosis. But it doesn't change the fact T'Pol keeps getting psychically raped.

I'm not defending what Rajin did or the excess in that story line. But I did think they tried to make Rajin look like a somewhat unwilling participant in front of the Xindi Council. As I say, it's not particularly consistent.

I'm sorry but one line of "The humans aren't what you think" doesn't scream support and sympathy to me. It just seemed that she didn't like the job, but she would have done it again, and LIKED raping T'Pol, Hoshi, Archer, and some poor red shirt. Or is it red stripe?

She mentaly Raped T-Pol. she physically hammered T-Pol against the wall knocking her out
and then Rajiin mind Raped her.

T-Pol was initially resisting Rajiin invasion of her mind although Rajiin ws trying to get control through touch. She was unbuttoning t-Pol's Pajama top so she must have needed to touch T-Pol somewhat intimately. that is when T=Pol finally started to physicalllly resist rajiin. Still wonder what kind of Strength Rajiin had to do that to T-Pol. After all T-Pol did have her Vulcan Strength. so she shoud have been able to best Rajiin.

Episode was inconsistent in many places.

The one glaring inconsistency was her attack on T-Pol.

BTW, I got the idea that the door to T-Pol's wuarters was locked yet Rajiiin walked right in.
Perhaps she did have some telekenetic abilities in addition to telepathic.

Again, one wonders if Rajiiin posses those Telepathic powers, super Strength how she was kept a slave. Or how she was not able to escape the Reptilians.

That's easy she didn't want to escape. She liked her job. Obviously whe was an espionage tool, whether by choice or by slavery who knows. But the point is she liked doing all of that. She was an evil slut/whore. I just liked the fact that T'Pol programmed Trip's thumb print to let him in whenever he needed too. A girl doesn't do that for a patient. She does do it for someone important and close.

But Trip rang the door chime and said T-Pol you in there. He did that twice and then queried Hoshi if she knew where T-Pol was and was told T-Pol was in her quarters. believe he Rang Bell one more time and then KEYED in her combo. Rajiin heard him and was hiding when he came in. His whole focus was on T-Pol streched out on the floor. He ran to her and knelt down to see how she was and got clocked by Rajiin with something hard.

I still got the idea that whe rajiin was taken off the Enterprise by the Reptilians and returned to their home world that she was their prisoner and had to do their bidding. Think that after she revealed her information she was taken away.

Don't quote meon that I will have to check the Episode T4ext.

He chimed and checked because she was on board. But he barged in during Extinction. And it wasn't a code, it was his fingerpint that's MAJOR for a woman.

Nice thought, but as the Chief Engineer, Trip might well have override authority on ALL the ship's doors.

I've never heard of a Chief Engineer having that authority. Could they break in? YEAH DUH! Would they be allowed I doubt it. As far as I know, the only people authorized to do that are The Captain, the Chief of Security, and the First Officer. NOBODY else is allowed. Hey don't ruin the image!!!!!!!!

Hey, if the toilet -- or a plasma conduit -- breaks in your quarters, don't you want the guy who can fix it to have access sooner rather than later??

So you request it. But the chief engineer can't come and go as they please. It has to be an official request. VOY said that.

Just checked the text of the Episode Rajiin. Trip overrode the Door lock.

So he obviously did have over ride authority and did not have the Combo and the lock was not set to open to his fingerprint.

Also, says that Rajiin clocked Trip with a jar and ran out. Trip was not affecfgted by the blow as he called Archer right away.

I have the Episode on DVd and may watch it again as the Text doesn't seem to have everything in it.

However, if I remember correctly when Trip finally does something he seems to key in either the correct combo or an override.

Oh yes, rajiin says to T-Pol that her door was unlocked and T-Pol says "I doubt that."

It wasn't an override. It was a thumbprint. He opened it in Extinction as well.
