That was absolutely lovely, anaM. Thank you.
Re: June '09 Word Prompt
Oh, well, I like Frank Sinatra, I like Trip, so Trip likes Frank Sinatra. It's only logical!
Thank you guys for liking it, it's a small thing but it's making me very happy to hear kind words from writers of your level

Re: June '09 Word Prompt
Wow, I really liked that. A perfect moment that said so much about their life together. It's all about spending your life with someone you love. Great job, anaM.

An excellent syllogism.

Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four
And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

Re: June '09 Word Prompt
I accedentally put this post in the wrong thread:
I posted a story in the General Enterprise section about Malcolm's dysfunctional family. It started out as a "regret" challenge. Didn't actually end up that way, but

Re: June '09 Word Prompt
Well done, anaM
I know I'm late, but:
Overheard: In the Garden, Again
How good it is to return home after an absence. There is no comfort like that of retuning to one’s own place.
I see that all is well in my garden. My neighbors have tended it well. I look forward to meditating again on my accustomed bench. If only the shrubs outside the wall were not rustling and waving about…
The familiar golden head appears and bright blue eyes regard me.
“Na’shaya, tela’at. It is agreeable to thee again.”
“It is agreeable to see thee as well, behsu-kan. The wall is very high at this point, child. How have you reached the top?”
“I am standing on Taluhk, sir.”
“Truly she is a most long-suffering companion. May I assist you?”
“Thank you, tela’at”
Solemn as a Vulcan child, but ten times as dirty any I have ever seen.
”No thanks are necessary, child. It is the duty of elders to help the young. Thanks are illogical, as I told you.”
“Mother said that too when I wanted to come to thank you for helping me when Taluhk ran away.”
“Your mother speaks as a proper Vulcan.”
“But Daddy is human, and he said it was part of my human heritage. But when I came, you were gone. Where did you go, tela’at?”
“And curiosity is a part of your human heritage as well, child?”
“Yes, sir.”
“Very well, I travelled to a gathering of my clan. We gathered to acknowledge the life of one of our number who has died. This is how Vulcans mourn.”
“Oh. I’m sorry, sir.”
“Your sentiments are appreciated, child. Our loss is…regrettable.”
“I hope you like how I tended your garden – Daddy said I could take care of it for you.”
“You alone undertook this task?”
“Yes. Mother taught me which ones to water, and what the weeds look like.”
I sense that in years to come, this child will often render me speechless. On this occasion, however:
“Thank you, behsu-kan.”
Umm...is there a July one?

It's flavored with passionfruit
an appropriate ingredient, don't you think?

evcake, thank you for more of the next door neighbor saga. I also think that in the years to come much will be learned by the neighbor from this half human child. Please keep them coming.

OMG, I can't believe I totally missed responding to this thread--probably because I haven't finished my fic for it, either!
My bad.
Everyone did a fabulous job!
Escriba, I love how you brought yours to life with pictures! I think that is the most unique execution I've seen of the prompts yet! I loved it.
evcake--what can I say? I love that you've given us another encounter with the neighbor! Please keep these coming. There most definitely is a July prompt, and I'd love to hear from the neighbor again.
Still working on mine, hope others are, too.

Okay, eScriba's anime cartoons are freakishly lifelike.

By the way, I took me a lot of hard work, so I don't want critics, OK? If somebody says something about the perspective being wrong or the characters not looking like themselves, I will kill that person, got it?
I want adoration. If you can't say "Ohhh... shiny," then say nothing
