Yep, definitely a little concerned about something. A bug in his suit? A bug on the floor? Or maybe he just farted?

Can't say it really looks too much like Trip to me, but I guess Trip is kind of ordinary looking until he smiles or you get a side view of that cute nose of his.

Yeah, that's a good point.

You know, only males trying to pander to sexuality would think high heels make a good 'uniform.' (Though Seven of Nine's were worse, I have to say.) Anyone who has to run for her life now and again wouldn't wear high heels!

In unrelated randomness, I saw a car with a license plate ending in "MU" and immediately though, "A mirror universe car." Then they passed on the right going way to fast, and I decided they must've learned to drive in the mirror universe...

Re: the 'proper' uniform comment I made, I meant the carpet pattern semi-professional outfit she had, rather than those "hey everyone, look what Trip's not getting more than his neuropressuring hands on" catsuits of later seasons.

I never noticed her boots, but thinking about it now, I'd expect them to be comfortable and ergonomic. Probably not aesthetically pleasing but do the job.

Part of the problem with the uniform, aside form looking completely unprofessional, was that we never did see any other Vulcans wearing it. Not that the thought of seeing Vulcans running around in brown spandex would appeal to me or anything. Kind of makes it not a uniform, though. Ironically the later catsuits were a bit thicker, so I'm not surprised they picked the brown one the same as they picked the silver catsuit and the promotional pose for the Seven of Nine ornament, which I totally have, btw.

Saw some live theater last night, Anne Frankenstein: The Musical. Was the most f'd-up fifteen minutes of my life, and possibly the best five bucks I've spent in a long, long time!
