Warp Girl my condolences that's so sad to lose your niece like that so suddenly. Linda I'm so sorry about your job. I hope you'll find another job soon.

It wasn't really sudden, we knew there was a chance she could die during her operation. But they said she was doing so well last night, and then today I found out she died. They were in Ohio and I'm here at home. Things are just hard, but I haven't even cried yet. I probably will next week.

Even though it was not entirely unexpected, it must still feel shocking to lose someone who was so young. That's awful. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Linda, I'm sorry for the loss of your job. Adjustments such as this are always challenging.

My H was just forced to fire one of our employees this week. I was friends with her and just ate over at her house only last week. It's hard not to feel kind of lousy about it.

Shitty week, indeed. My mother had a heart attach on Monday. Due to a pile of complications due to diabetes and kidney problems she hasn't even been able to have an angiogram to find the location of the blockage, which they say is significant. They might do that tomorrow, but it high risk because of her other problems, mostly low blood volume and the fact that she had two heart attacks in the past.

Unfortunately I can't get over to the hospital much because I have my 5 year old son with me home all day and he's not allowed into the hospital due to swine flu.

It looks like it will be a white-knuckle weekend for the family.

I'm sorry my niece died of heart problems so I hope your mother fares well. Just make sure to take care of yourself.

WarpGirl, I am so sorry about your niece. Words can not express enough, so I can only let you know that I feel with you and your family. My husband and I lost our baby girl 3,5 years ago and it's still very hard for us.
Aikiweezi, I am sorry to hear about your mother and I hope you will be able to visit her any time soon.
Linda, that must have been a shock. I really hope you will find a new and interesting job.

Aikiweezie, that must be so frustrating. I remember once when my husband was in ICU for a minor operation that turned into aspiration pneumonia that it was either my son or my husband but couldn't be both, and just driving between them was an added stress. Luckily my sister-in-law was there to help out with my son. I hope you get some time with your mom.

My gosh, here I am sulking about my problems and didn't read about other peoples! WarpGirl, that is very sad about your niece. Children dying is so hard because they are shortchanged on so much life experience. Aikiweezie, I hope your mother recovers to see many more years of life. Bether, I hope your friend finds other work soon and that you can stay friends with her.
