Maybe the term geek is pulling a 180 and becoming fashionable. First of all, it's increasingly cool to be a techie wiz. Geeks who manage to stay employed in actual law-abiding activities tend to become rich. 8)

I actually haven't heard the term theater geek, WG, but as I said, I'm out of it. But I wouldn't be surprised if geek is being applied to anything done with fanatical passion.

Yeah pretty much, but I'm still a geek. It's the Sci-Fi stuff that qualifies me.

Hopefully Elessar got good news today, "unofficially" of course.
