This weekend I'm at the Maly's Art of Beauty hair show in Grand Rapids, MI. The biggest names in my profession are speaking and teaching here--basically, think of it as being the hair version of a "Monsters of Rock" festival.

Today, I had the privilege of meeting and having my picture taken with Robert Cromeans, artistic director of John Paul Mitchell systems. (Think: when Wayne and Garth met Alice Cooper: "I'm not worthy! I'm not worthy!")



Too bad it's an awful picture of me but at least I have evidence of meeting a legend in my business!

Aquarius you don't look like I pictured at all. Not a bad thing, it's just I was so dead right with Silverbullet that I was surprised. I'm so glad you had an awesome experience. ROCK ON!

Your hair threw me off. I expected it to be longer and wilder. Otherwise I was close. Oh and I expected glasses. You have very attractive features, I didn't mean to suggest otherwise.

I had longer bright orange/red hair but I cut it off and darkened it a couple of months ago. There are pictures of that from our salon Christmas party earlier in this thread.

Honestly, I have no clue what you look like. Anytime I get a mental picture of anyone, it's wrong. So I don't even guess any more.

Actually I think what really threw me was the fact you were dressed so conservatively, I expected much flashier. After all, my sister does hair and when she dresses for work, lots of make-up and bright colors.

Alelou wants me to put a picture up, but NOT HAPPENING! But I'll give a description.

Hight: 5'6 1/2''

Weight: (in the interest of accuracy) 105-108 lbs

Hair: Dark Brown (goes dark red in summer) long

Eyes: Dark Brown (wish they were blue/grey like grammy's)

Skin Tone: Fair (but not pale)

Favorite Feature: My Hair

Least Favorite Feature: My Nose, it's too wide and round at the tip. But it fits my face well. My features are very symmetrical.

Aquarrius, When did you cut your hair? I remember seeing a picture where it was long.

I used to have really really long hair - to the middle of my back. It was thick and pretty........and then my alopecia came out of remission 3 years ago.
