heyy everyone, i'm AussieSheila, i'm from australia obviously and probably the baby of this family, only entering high school this year. just so ya know, i take everything literally, so some things you say could get a little confusing for me, and i have really thick skin, so i like never get insulted (and btw, i have WAY better grammar and punctuation when writing the fics
). and also, i may be a little scarce the next 2 weeks, mid-terms and stuff, my first year of them, so nervous! so umm ya! hiii!!

Welcome. I am also pretty literal, but I can ususally translate or at least let you know when someone is being sarcastic, or funny. Just remember if it sounds to weird to be true it probably is.

Since you take things so literally, I'm almost afraid to say welcome to the TriSilk madness again, AussieSheila!

Re: New members, introduce yourselves here!
In the first place, I'd like to express my thanks to Elessar and mjimeyg for helping me to register here.
Screen name: Ludmila. Many know me as l b e k o j but I prefer being called by my real name.
Real name: Ludmila (you may call me Luda or Mila). I do know that the proper spelling my name in German is Ljudmila. I surmise that I might write my name as Lyoudmeela for the proper pronunciation in the enigmatic English.
Gender, location, profession: female, Russia, Moscow. I am working in the small software development company, where I work as business analyst, product manager, technical writer, teacher of our programs and help-desk specialist.
Are you here as a reader, writer, or both?
Reader. And I'll try to be a good reviewer. I am lurking at TriS from the day one (December of 2006), but I register only now because I did not have a good handling of writing in English. I am not satisfied yet with my speed and comprehensiveness of the expression of my opinions in English. But I plan to acquire these skills during our big New Year holidays (whole 10 free days in the beginning of January).
How did you first become a fan of Star Trek?
I did not watch VOY, TAS and DS9, viewed only a few episodes of TOS and have been watching TNG many years ago. But I was usually looking at TNG in last years when I was having meals and it was on TV in that time. During one that meal in 2005 I was surprising to watch unusual "Star Trek". It was new rerun of Enterprise on some channel with everyday showing of one new episode. The first episode left me very bewildered and slightly annoyed, because it was not a habitual Star Trek. But T'Pol awaked my interest from the second episode. I liked the all characters little by little (except Archer). I liked this show much more when I discovered of the very interesting world of fanfics.
Are you interested in any other fandoms? I visited as lurker 10 years ago Russian fansite of "Babylon 5".
What's your favorite Enterprise fanfic?
Hopeful Romantic was a first author who attracted my attention to a fanfiction.
I adore the stories by Rigil Kent, Dinah, Ludjin, Evalyn A, Ragua, Favors, Kevin, Misplaced, Transwarp, Alelou, Honeybee, Bluetiger, Aquarius and Nemo Blank.
I love "The Lerteiran Chronicles" by BnB and Distracted, Elessar's "Vulcan for …" and "A Twist of Fate Series", Escriba's "Mirage".
What was the last book you read? I love to read few books simultaneously. At home I try to finish the ''1000 year of the world architecture". I am going to start reading "Reap the wild wind" by Julie E. Czerneda in the metro (underground). I thoroughly enjoyed "The Romulan War. Beneath The Raptor's Wings" in the previous weekend. And later I red "The most beautiful places of our planet" and looked through "Copenhagen from above" (I liked the most the pictures of Vor Frelser Kirke there).
I prefer to exchange by the regular mails than PM usually (I am a member of House of Tucker from the end of 2006).
Feel free in case of need to write me at my mail with your screen name here in the subject
b e k o j @mail.ru (of course, without spaces in name)
I am not afraid to give my address because I am deleting without opening the letters from strangers and undesirable elements.

Re: New members, introduce yourselves here!
Thank you, Warpgirl, for a great welcome!
I must confess that after my starting to leave reviews (for me it is still very time consuming thing) I do not read all the stories that I wish. And my stock of unread ones is rising. But I am looking forward my big holidays for catching up.
