Yeah but it doesn't mean the same thing in English so it can be jarring.

Mine doesn't have much mystery. Escriba is "scribe" in Spanish. Also, it's kind of a shout out to the Garcia Marquez's novel "El coronel no tiene quien le escriba" ("No One Writes to the Colonel")

"Yes, miss."
"You do?"
"Yes, miss. Lawyers, miss."

I was more thinking in the lines of that for me Bones (from TOS of course) and Asso have things in common. ;-)

"Pitseleh" is the title of my favorite Elliott Smith song. I later learned that it is a yiddish word meaning "little one".

Here's the grooveshark link in case anyone is curious and wants to hear it: http://listen.grooveshark.com/#/song/Pitseleh/7346856

In Italian language Asso means Ace, and it can have a lot of meanings.
In particular, Ace is a person who excels at some peculiar sector (I'm very modest, don't I? :D ), but it is also a playing card, a very unique playing card.
This card is powerful and it can mean a lot of things, according with the suit. Particularly, L'asso di picche (the Ace of Spades) is traditionally accounted as the most valuable card, and in popular folklore it is called the death's card (more and more modest, isn't it? And also cheerful, indeed! )
But there's something else, in my screen name: you know I'm a doctor. Ok: Asso...Ossa: Bones!

Good, isn't it?
And also the Image, I think there's something, or someone, near him.. I don't know... I think I can understand his smile. :D

I love it!! Awesome story.

Also, "Ace of Spades" is my favorite Motorhead song. ;-)

Actually, there are very few forms of music I DON'T like!

I don't like classical. I hear it, I want to burn something.
I hate "smooth jazz."
I dislike most country that's been put out since the mid-70s, but I like the old stuff.

If I had to pick a "favorite" kind of music, it would probably be electronica/techno varieties, closely followed by "alternative" forms of music like punk, industrial, goth, as well as 80s new wave.

Oh, and I don't think much of what passes for "alternative" these days...because it's pop...and that isn't an alternative to anything. ;-)

I'm not a huge metal fan, but yeah, there are some artists and songs I dig. 8)

I love everything except metal and Gansta Rap. Hey does anyone remember The Proclaimers, Irish band in the 80's?

I like a lot of different music, too. Mostly hard rock and 80s music, though.

I met my husband when I auditioned to be the singer for his high school "battle of the bands" in 1984. The first song we performed that night was "99 Luftballoons." We were in the band together for 6 years. 80s music is close to my heart.

I remember "The Proclaimers. I recently heard them interviewed. They are still performing.

That's who I chose for Trip's Karaoke. But he's doing it with his brother, who lives in Ireland so it works for me. Now I have to finish writing the dang thing. Hey You know who's screen name facinates me, Elessar's I don't know why either.

Yeah only Sting could take a song about stalking and obsession and turn it into love. Hey he freely admits that "Every Breath You Take" is a creepy stalker song, because he was a creepy stalker when he wrote it for his ex wife.

:D I loved the Police, Madness, Genesis, Ultravox ... all that stuff that was popular in England in the early 80's. Hearing it always takes me back to my year away from home. "In the Air Tonight" always takes me right back to the pub where I worked. We blasted it while we cleaned up.

I'm so sorry you hate all classical. Even symphonic soundtracks, then? John Williams makes you want to burn things too? There's so much in that category, to love and hate and in between.
