The boring objects game

We've got Tim Horton's here in Michigan and I'm sooooooooo happy about that. Kicks Dunkin Donuts and Krispy Kreme's ass. The only one that can compete is Quality Dairy Co., and I think that's local to the Lansing area, at least I've never seen them anywhere.

In the meantime, I'll take the pics necessary to play later. Right now I'm watching last night's Trauma.

I worked in the mall dentists' office recently, and the mall had a Tim's....and so whenever someone didn't show up and I had 20 minutes to kill, I'd wander down to Tim's and get 12 doughnuts and then I'd bring them back. Everyone thought I was SOo nice. But the real reason I bought 12 was cause I wanted to eat 3 doughnuts and if i got 3 doughnuts just for myself everyone would notice...

Perfectly devious! I used to do that when I worked at a water park, they had a candy store, I'd buy a pound of fudge and share, but only because I wanted lemmon bars all to myself. I don't drink crappy American beer. I drink whiskey, and pepperment schnapps.

I drink Guinness! And Killians! And Bitburger! And the American beers I drink are quality-crafted locally, like from Black Lotus and Arcadia Ales--you ain't gonna find Budweiser in MY fridge!!

My daddy gave me something awful out of his liquor cabinate tonight. I don't know what it was. But all I wanted was some Jameson's whiskey. In my mind crappy beer = Caronas

My current favorite is Dundee honey brown lager. Sounds kind of revolting, but I really love the flavor. I had no idea where it comes from but I just googled it and apparently it's based in Rochester NY.

I hate beer, but Priso is into the Hermannator Ice Bock right now.

There's a stupid sign that some liquor store stuck on the side of the road near our house...the neon kind with removable letters, and it says, "It's Bock." (the Ice Bock's not always available) And the first time I saw the sign I was like, Aw man, Priso's gonna have to go buy that beer now, I bet.

Sure enough...he gets home from work with a 6 pack.

I was like, " 'It's Bock'?"

And he was all, "Yeah."

I don't like beer either. Well I finally tasted one I like but it didn't like me. One beer that's all I had, (the very first whole bottle) and the next day I felt like I had swallowed Vulcan I felt so dehydrated. And I don't know why! I drank plenty of fluids before and after the beer. I'm tiny I know I have to be careful, but I felt awful the next day. So no more beer for me.

I love beer, but it doesn't love me so I don't usually finish a whole bottle. Wine or port, I can manage one glass if I'm lucky, but usually I'm pouring out the stuff at the bottom. Hard liquor I don't enjoy at all unless it's gussied up with margarita ingredients or something equally girly and in any case one serving makes me loopy.

My father loves beer even more, but he has some sort of yeast sensitivity and it exacerbates his excema when he drinks it. I suspect I inherited his tendencies there.

My son refuses to drink Target milk. In our local one, at least, it has a very distinctive flavor. This is very annjoying when they're giving away free gallons if you buy enough cereal, since cheap cereal is the main reason I go to Target.
