Thank you, Alelou, for the interesting, beautiful and sad "Ukrainian performance sand art"
It was a performance about our Great Patriotic War (1941-1945) with the archive radio announcement, songs of that time ("The dark night" with the line about beloved at bassinet) and the themes of receiving the "killed in battle" notice in the envelope, the soldier tombstone after it and long waiting of killed husband (There were the events when men declared "killed in battle" came back much later after the end of that war).
The girl wrote in the end: "You are always near".

My husband said I should watch it. He must have seen it on Facebook so probably a family member put it up. He said it reminded him of my doodling (though mine is nothing like that!).

Snowball is a riot! He certainly keeps a good beat. How old is he now? Our Hercule is a twenty-one year old Orange Wing Amazon. I got him when he was a year old. Last night he was sitting on my shoulder as I wrote holiday cards. When he wanted me to scratch his head and neck, he pulled the pen out of my hand with his beak and held it in his foot so I couldn't get it back.
