Aureilia is always asking questions. Last year one of them was "can a girl marry a girl?" and I said, "yep....boys can marry boys and girls can marry girls and boys can marry girls. Whatever you like."

So now, whenever the subject of her own future comes up, Aureilia casually says, "Well, I'm going to marry a nice girl and give her my cells and she will give me her cells and we will have a baby named Strawberry. And Abby [her lil sis] can have a baby also and name it Blueberry." The grandmas' eyes pop a bit at all this, but what can ya do?

I think Aureilia' gets' the cellular biology of baby-making a little more than the physical bit yet, lol.

She's so hilarious, it's hard to keep a straight face wehn she's sharing these serious revelations.

Anyhow, perhaps the boys won't be as much of a problem as one might think.
(Yeah, yeah, I know I'm deluding myself: it's gonna be a nightmare).

Hmm. Well I don't think you can actually determine who you'll be fighting off before puberty. Genetic controversy aside, I have the gene for Blue eyes. Mine are DARK BROWN! Still they sound so adorable, and since I've yet to hear you talk about any bad behavior, I'm assuming these are very well behaved children. You should be so proud, you and hubby.

My son decided that mothers "spit" their babies out. He asked my mother if she would spit out a baby sister for him. I think it's time for another one of those discussions.

Yeah, but if you also have the gene for brown, they'll be brown. Blue eyes are a recessive trait.
