Actually, on that story, I owe a lot to early commenters who wanted T'Pol to find a "good relative" - and so I got to create her "good brother" who is also Romulan. That was totally a fun challenge. That's why fanfic is so much fun to write - people throw ideas and you and you can try and execute them.

What I want to know is how a nonnative English speaker knows the word "penultimate." I barely know the word "penultimate," lol . . . Or is there a close Italian equivalent? Anyway, I look forward to reading the penultimate chapter of "Depths."

Asso--we got it. Looks like the Boss has been busy, and now he's on vacation, so there's a few things waiting to be wposted. We're just gonna do the best we can until we're caught up and take everything in the order it was sent.

That said, this is probably a good time to mention this: I don't officially resume archival duties until the 15th. School started again this week, so I'll be going back to my usual routine and be checking the inbox more or less on the weekends. So that means if you send us something on Monday, I might not see it until Saturday or Sunday. No need to give us a poke or anything, unless Sunday comes and goes and your fic still hasn't been posted. I'll try to squeeze in what I can in between, but I need to be responsible and get good grades, too, and Sundays are the only days that I have off from both work and school. I just wanted to assure everyone that you're not going to be ignored, and that you shouldn't worry that your fic hasn't been lost, it's just a case of life happening.
