Please allow me to use this forum to extend a heart-felt and public apology to Honeybee. I just came from the comment section of her story 'Dusk', and read these words by her:

I can't sit by and let someone insist that I wrote something twisted and cruel when I didn't, and the text clearly indicates that.


Honeybee, I have never read anything you've written that could ever be considered twisted and cruel. In my zeal to get my points across I have wounded you. I was thoughtless and overbearing. Now I am just sorry.

Your work reflects a kind and gentle soul. I do not believe, now or ever, that there is anything dark, twisted or cruel about you. Please, please, forgive me.

Well, thank you Transwarp. I do appreciate the apology and I know the story wasn't everyone's cup of tea, nor was it meant to be. For the record, I can take criticism, and everyone is free to like or dislike what they want. I just won't let incorrect interpretations of my work stand. I was going for angst, and I apparently I succeeded. I just didn't want anyone to think that I intended to make the characters weak or cruel - which couldn't be further from the truth.
