I believe the anatomical reason for their greater strength, since they've obviously not larger in stature (especially in T'Pol's case) is supposed to be denser musculature. I'm sure it could be argued that that would prohibit them from sagging. It's also possible that they no longer breast feed or have mammary glands... maybe the biology of their breasts is completely different. Maybe it's muscle tissue instead of fatty tissue.

But what would the excuse be for a Vulcan bum thread? Are there any specific planetary traits on Vulcan that is favourable in creating shapely rears?

Hmmm. Well, the gluteus maximus IS the largest muscle in the body, and a higher gravity world would require greater muscle mass to propel an individual while walking. So Vulcans would necessarily have leaner and more muscular frames in general. Vulcan bums would therefore be muscular and firm. Like Jolene's.

I knew our resident Doctor would chime in with a good explanation.

Interesting idea, BUT (no pun intended) from an evolutionary point of view they would serve no purpose and would become smaller, right? Unless they served some other purpose. Like weapons. Like a Fembot.

Maybe they HAVE gotten smaller most Vulcan women see see aren't that well endowed. I mean we have to treat T'Pol's breast size as the same as Jolene's, which despite the custuming, it's huge right? Anyone know her actual bust size? I'm going to go out on a limb and guess like 32C or 34C. She's a petite lady.

I tried to look it up online when I wrote my "T'Pol's Secret" story, for the part where the salesgirl takes T'Pol's measurements, figuring that they'd be out there somewhere because she's a model and people who would consider booking her would want that information, but I couldn't find them, so I had to settle for the salesgirl feeling incredibly inadequate by comparison to emphasize how big they are.

It's been a long time since *I* worked at Victoria's Secret, but I'm gonna guess she's bigger than a C. And though it's not quite scientific, my friend referred to them as "zeppelins." So I guess that means by his standards, they're big.

ETA: I DID find her height online, and depending on the website, they have her at either 5'6" or 5'7", so though she's shapely and has a small waist, she's not quite what you'd call petite. In the modeling world that'd get her labeled as "petite," yes, but in the grand scheme of real, regular women, that makes her average. Point being: she's a little taller than most people estimate, so that gives her more body area to support that boobage.

Her size looks fairly average to me, especially considering how well they hold up without apparent support. I'd guess C. (Do Europeans even know what we're talking about? How do you guys measure them?)

T'Pau, on the other hand, is a woman who's going to need some serious support...

I believe when they're fake, they'll hold up pretty well without support any way, within certain tolerances.

It's so hard to tell these things by eyeballing, and most women improperly fit themselves for their bras any way. Nobody correctly guesses my size, either, but, you know, if the cup fits...

I don't think they're that big, I've heard her say in interviews before she can wear a B cup. I know that, it kinda goes both ways... like you can "squeeze" into one smaller, sometimes, but I still think she's a C. If she's really like a 34C, she might be able to wear a 34D, but she may not completely need it. I don't see her as a D cup for some reason.

WHen I called her petite, I didn't mean her height (which looks a lot smaller than 5'7 on TV but in person, as I saw her WALKING AWAY! (--see worst day of my life) I thought she did look taller).... I meant her waist and her chest circumference. That's why I think she's probably only like maybe even a 32.

I think Jolene is 5'5''. Definitely not 5'7''. And I recall reading somewhere that when she got her, ehum, enhancements, she didn't want to go overboard like many do and opted for a large B or small C. Padding can do wonders for making them look bigger than they are in certain roles (like in ENT season 1-2). But in some photoshoots they don't seem that big, although her petite frame also make them seem bigger at times.

Keep in mind, too, like with other clothing, the manufacturer of your undergarments makes a difference what 'size" you are. When I worked at Victoria's Secret, for example, it seemed that a lot of their styles ran smaller than other manufacturers. I don't know if that's true now, but then sometimes I had to go up a size to get one to fit there.

^ That goes for most, if not all, items of clothing. Just the other week I experienced it while buying some new shoes.

What I was getting at is that she not that well endowed as she's sometimes made out to be, even with a boob job. Sometimes I wonder how she looked before she got her enhancements.

It's possible she was the same size, but had the positioning altered. I've been contemplating them for sometime when the weight loss is over. I'm not interested in changing their size, I just want them to sit where they're supposed to and look good when I'm not wearing a bra, something that will be unlikely without them in light of the damage I've done to my body.

My point was, depending on where/who you usually buy your bras from, your idea of what, exactly a B vs C, etc. is could be a little off.

Jolene has said in interviews that they extensively padded her bra for the first two seasons. It got to the point that she didn't feel anything if she accidentally bumped into things and people.
