My sister remarked one day when Enterprise was on that Archer "isn't even remotely attractive", which I as a straight man disagree with, I think he's handsome. She just said Trip was "kinda cute".

Eventually, though, I developed a crush on him, complete with embarrassing blushing and the whole thing. Just because he was a great guy.

Yeah that happened to me a few times. But as I said before, Conner is textbook my type right down to the evil grin in the MU. He IS a georgeous man IMHO. BUT what I care about more in men is that they stimulate my brain and emotions more than my body.

As for Scott Bakula I don't like his face. The rest of him taking into consideration age, is very attractive to me. HOWEVER I don't like his face or the personality I get from character and interviews. Therefore as Elessar's sister said, to me he isn't even remotely attractive.

As far as body goes, yeah you want a man who cares about himself and obviously Connor REALLY cares. It seems to me his body is more natural and comes from simple workouts to keep lean. I hate those guys whose arms are so muscular that they're out of proportion with the rest of them.

Connor has a good balance going...good abs, flat stomach, not too much chest hair...he cuts a great figure semi-nude. I could stare all day...

What I love most about Connor is his eyes. It's always the first thing to attract me to a man. If I can see his soul through his eyes, I fall hard. I suppose I'm more in love with the character than the man though. If I met Connor in person, I could say whether or not the actor appeals to me.

I think he's only about 5'10... that's taller'n me  but not really above average. He told us at a con, at the table me and JT had, that he played football in high school where he played cornerback. He has a brother who was way into Star Trek and science and math . Funny how that worked out huh?

I remember him saying, "He got the math, n science, n brains and I got sports n girls."

Kinda ridiculous unfair the way he got into acting too . He was saying that he was kind of planning on trying to play football professionally, but really didn't think deep down he was good enough when some girl he was interested in invited him to come read for some HS play and apparently it took off from there.

I thought that in an interview Conner said he was tad under five foot eleven inches. I recall in some scenes he seemed to be as tall as Archer, in some a bit taller and in some a tad shorter. but nevertheless near Six feet.

That makes me feel not so bad about being 5'8  I've always felt short.

Elessar, some women like short men. Look at Sophia LOren and Carlo Ponti.

I was five - eight too. but age comes with some height loss. Anyway I never felt inadquate.
It has been said that "size doesn't count." Does that apply to Height?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_height. I'm 190 cm tall(I think it is 6'3'') and I don't feel like I was tall, but I have over 5 friends and people that I associate with that are almost my height or taller. I guess it's a matter of perspective.

Two of my sister's brothers-in-law are over 6 feet 3 inches. One of them is 6 feet 1 inch however her husband is 5 feet 5 and 1/2 inches. So I am taller than him. Hight isn't a big deal in general. However, 5 feet 8 inches is not short, it's average. 6 feet and over is considered tall. MALCOLM IS SHORT. But he is also very sexy.
