I have been having miscommunication with the payroll department at my job while trying to wind up all my banked vacation days, my personal leave time, my sick leave days, all day today, since I stop working here at the end of the month. Do you think the Killer "B's" realize that?

Last I heard Bragga admitted that he "May" have made a mistake but still thought it was a "Cool" idea. Doesn't sound as if the Penny has dropped there.

I'm working on trying to analyze and read emotions between the lines. Hmm...do I sense that perhaps you may be harboring a bit of resentful over said episode?

Nothing here. Just a few patches from the snow showers we had earlier in the week. This is such a bizarre winter.

My husband thinks I'm crazy because I'm jealous of the people who are getting a blizzard. Not that I want a blizzard, but I could do with at least 6-7 inches of snow out there, especially on a weekend when it's easier to deal with.

Well, clearly I don't have to go anywhere tomorrow. I do not wish a blizzard on anyone who doesn't want one,. These things have little regard for my preferences, in any case.

Speaking of which, how weird is it that in order to hold faculty workshops my college cancels classes this coming Wednesday, an apparently random choice, but DOESN'T cancel classes on Monday, a federal holiday -- and a day when many of our students who take the bus can't get here easily?

Couldn't they just switch the two? It's bizarre.

So I've got almost 30 inches of snow! Anyone else snowed in. Right now two dogs and 2 cats have sought refuge in my parents house. Did I mention dad only likes my cat in the house. If he's cool with the others you know the weather's awful.
Some of these people haven't taken their medication. Let's see what happens now...

30 inches is a lot snow. This is coming from a Chicagoan. Nothing much phases us weather-wise. I hope you're wll-stocked.
