I prefer PB and banana on toast.

Also, PB and nutella is a very nice combination. :)

When I'm in a hurry, though, I'll just eat PB off a spoon!

When I was a kid, I was creamy all the way. Now, I must have crunchy - and I like the "all natural" kind you have to stir.

But I keep some creamy skippy around to fill little Max's Kong with. Keeps him busy for about 15 minutes.

I like Skippy, and it's creamy because the kid won't eat crunchy (he likes peanutbutter, but not peanuts  ). I like natural Skippy, too, but I have to wonder what keeps it emulsified if it's really 'natural'. Besides, I believe 'natural' is one of those words that doesn't actually mean anything on an American food label.

When I was very young Peanut Butter was not Homoginized. It had to be stired and that was a Hell of a job. If you had patience you could turn the Jar upside down (the oil ws always at the top of thePeanutbutter.) the oil would raise to the top again mixing with the Peanut butter but it took some time. A Peanut butter sandwhich was a chore to eat. Always stuck to the roof of the mouth. I have been told that PB&J sandwhiches came about because the jelly would lubricate the Peanut buttr keeping it from sticking to the roof of the mouth.

That is one version at least.

BTW, never liked PB&J

My mother can eat entire jars of peanut butter. Well on American Airlines they still serve peanuts. I wasn't saying it is wrong to ban peanuts for someone's safety far from it. I just never heard of an airline doing it before. For one person, I couls see them making an entire policy change and good for them, but one flight for one person, I hadn't heard that before.

If someone on a plane went into anaphylactic shock, epi pen or no, the plane would likely have to make an emergency landing at the nearest airport. My dad was once on a flight and a man had a mild heart attack. The was a doctor on board and he stabilized the guy. They still landed an hour short of their destination. So it is in both the airline & passengers interest to avoid any major incident.

Why is it all beauty pagent winners look the same except for dark hair or light hair, brown eyes or blue? :dunno: I mean even the relatively few ethinic winners are made up to look almost identical.

I'm really not sure what that's supposed to mean. The current Miss USA is Lebanese. There have been African American, Asian, and Polynesian contestants that I can remember. I recall Vanessa Williams being crowned the first black Miss America...and then losing that crown because some nude pictures were discovered...and then going on to have a successful recording and TV career.

As far as how they're "made up" to all look the same.... :wtf: They're all pretty women...with makeup on. If there are any similarities in their hair and makeup, I'm sure it's reflective of trends in the industry.

They just never seem to look natural. IDK they wear the same type of gown, the hair is always big, the makeup always looks like a Barbie doll. They all look like barbie dolls, I mean there are very few unique barbie dolls the african american soll looks just like malibu barbie only a different color. Same thing in beauty pagents, a woman's unique features are hidden under a homogonized look.

Juse ONCE in my lifetime I'd like to see a short, flat-chested woman with a big booty of ANY ethnicity win the crown. Just once.

Thank you that is what I mean! There is nothing unique about any of them. They're all tall slender and have identical smiles.

Like any other competition, you have to meet the judges' standards if you want to win. I don't look a thing like these girls, but I don't begrudge them their crowns. If the people putting up the prize money wanted to see flat hair, flat chests, and big asses, that's the kind of woman that would win, and the rest of 'em would look like her. Not saying it's right or wrong, it's just how it is.
