Dude you need help.
Does this mean I have to go on ff.net and read your Smallville stuff like I did with TSCC, I miss John/Cam... <sigh>

Some of these people haven't taken their medication. Let's see what happens now...

And by people WG had herself in mind, but then the quote would have been ruined.

There should be, like, places people can go to get counseling.

Waiting for the John/Cam fic, don't get your hopes up about the Clana.
But then I'm waiting for you to finish a lot of fics, and you just get more and more busy...

Re: Randomness
Damn you John! Forget the math and stuff. Like Barbie so famously said in the 90's "math class is tough".
Just finish those stories for warpgirl!
(btw...clana? That made me lol. It's like we all speak a different language than we ourselves just did just a few years ago. I mean, would the 1985-You understand even half the frikking sentences you utter nowadays? even people who consider themselves low tech. megapixels and brangelina and ringtones and spyware and trojan horses (not the wooden kind) and swine flu and supernanny and terabyte and so forth)
(remember when marty mcfly used to pronounce it a "jiggawatt"?
awesome movie)

Re: Randomness
1985 I was one, and on a mat my legs back and arms being manipulated into painful positions just so I could sit properly. You know I'm more savvy about what was cool in my childhood now than I was as a kid! I never had time for NKOTB or Madonna. I was listening ot Cole Porter, and watching Gone With The Wind.

Re: Randomness
*shakes head* in 1985 my parents weren't even married yet... Though they might've been dating. I think they were. They never were real clear on when they met.

Re: Randomness
In 1985 I'd just graduated from college and gotten married. I'd never sent an email or used a computer and was still, like, writing letters to people on paper and stuff. And I'd never even heard of fanfiction.

Re: Randomness
1989 was probably the best year of my life. I was the most popular girl in Kingdergarden, (with boys at least) the Berlin Wall came down. And Tuesday nights we could stay up late and watch TNG!

Re: Randomness
In 1985 I was 17 years old and I had actually used a computer, a Commodore 64 a friend had. A year or two later I got my first computer. But I didn't know about shipping or fanfic until 2002 or so, after getting hooked on Buffy.
She's got an awfully nice bum!

1985 I was getting my second child, I moved to Italy for 1,5 yrs pos-doc. We had computers, but e-mail (as known today) still didn't exist. We could send internal messages for other co-workers of the same (mainframe) computer. By that time I had only watched TOS.

Re: Randomness
85 was the year I finished grad school at UNH, had (and lost) my first serious boyfriend, did Upward Bound tutor-counseling for the summer, went to England and Scotland with my dad, substitute taught at the local high school, turned down the full-year temp job they offered me because it had no health benefits, got a job writing copy and typesetting it at a small stamp collecting company, and within three weeks had to use those new health benefits for emergency surgery on my appendix.
Sheesh. I'd probably have a nervous breakdown if I had to cope with all that in one year now.

OMG, ANOTHER new chapter! NORTH STAR Chapter 28
