no prob. I'm mostly over it now. Oddly enough, the thing I'm mosted POed about is the problems it's caused my writing. Go figure, right? Though I did manage to get a page and a half written while watching the first half of the new ST movie the other day... I'm thinking, captiolize on that and watch the movie as many times as nessicary to finish the chappie... After I make dinner though. And find a recipie for phyllo dough....

Phyllo Dough... You can buy it frozen at the market but... I looked on all my recipy sites, no dice. It is incredibly hard to make because the dough is so thin. I recommend buying it.

went to three different grocery stores over the course of the past few days looking for ti. No dice. So I found a recipie online and, yeah, it turned out to be way too thick, but I'm using it for beef wellingtons, not pastry, so I think I can get away with it. Le sigh. At least I get to spend all this free time of mine creating new and exciting things for dinner.

It's usually in the frozen section. Did you look there?

yeah. it was insane. 15 flavours of hot pockets, a whole asile of pizza products, but no phyllo dough.

Wow. You clearly don't live near Tarpon Springs, Florida. To tell you the truth, I'm not sure I could find it here either. I can remember making due with puff pastry instead, which is pretty similar.

I thought Beef Wellington was supposed to be made with Puff Pastery. I feel very fortunate, after living in an area where the only thing was WalMart, we finally got a very sophisticated market. And just to keep it OT: I got a lot of inspiration for the eating adventures of TnT. Because they had fun with food.

Have you considered going to Culinary School? You really love to cook.

I've considered a lot of things, but, with cooking, it's a hobby. If I had to do it, and make what they wanted, I'd probably hate it. I end up cooking here by default 'cause my mom and brother can't, and my dad's deployed... And every few months or so of doing this, I get so fed up because they are late to dinner, or don't appreciate it, or whatever, that I end up leaving them to their own devices for a couple weeks or so until I get hungry for real food.

And today seems to be harder than most to concetrate on writing. Or on anything. I ended up watching America's Next Top Model for a couple hours today because I couldn't concentrate on anything else. And usually I only do that in January when I'm riding out the last of my x-mas blues.

They're not hard to make if you have a photo editing program on your computer.
