It actually went well, all things considered, although at 47 years old, after three days of 12 hours walking in the heat flanked by two twelve hour bus rides I'm gonna need a vacation to recover from my vacation.

Good news from here :D

Looks like I've found an employer that can cope with my ... erm... quirks....

Morning 07:30am: Kotik enters the office...

"Mornin', ya pillocks!"

(chorus) "Morning, ya pickey!"

At every other employer that "surprisingly" didn't last long, but I seem to have found abunch of people with a real sense of humour. :D

Great news Kotik - being employed is usually better than not.

One should not use the words "twelve hour bus ride" in the same sentence as "vacation".

Just so you know.
Very funny, Scotty. Now beam down my clothes.

Happy news. I woke up this morning. Now that doesn't seem like much to you but from 76 years it is a victory.

Next time you wake up young, ready to fight y9our weight in wildcats. Be thankful.

Yes. I have recently become aware of this fact. ;-)

I do appreciate my health, SB. That's why I don't plan to go on any more vacations which might endanger it. 8)

I'm going to Sweden on Sunday for five days. Don't know how much free time I will have for site seeing because I'm doing work. Figures the first time I will be at Sweden is for work and not fun. But the money is good :D .

As said, pretty chicks, lotsa nice landscape, elk, bears and generally a lot of people, who know how to have fun. Just don't touch the booze, it's got astronomical taxes applied to it and is therefore hideously expensive. Which is why all Swedes come to Germany to get hopelessly bladdered

Speaking of which. I'm preparing for my first LAn competition in 4 years. Hope I've not gotten too rusty. But even if I get trounced by the youth. A lot of beer will be consumed and even more lot of fun will be had :shifty:

Sweden, land of Beautiful women. What else is needed for a young man?

Pity you won't be there for Mid-Summers-Night-Eve. NOW that is a party.

Tall blondes come in two genders, don't they? 8)

Sounds like it's not a place to sightsee if you're married. Too many distractions. ;-)

Greetings y'all from the bowels of an industrial estate in Bochum, Germany, where a lot of grown men have congregated to fight each other in virtual racing and make the world a better place by fighting the enemy-of-human-kind, beer, by ruthlessly drinking it into extinction :D

Edit: And, as expected, I'm rustier than a 5 year old FIAT. I'm losing, badly
