I'd like to see Sweden! Some of your pics looked wicked cool KTR. How many museums would I get to see???
Some of these people haven't taken their medication. Let's see what happens now...

Yahooo, what a weekend
Arrived at the location on Friday 01:00pm. Raced like madmen and drank
the bloody original...uh until saturday 06:30am... when we went to sleep, just to awake at 09.00. Needless to say that my old, fat self ran out of steam by midnight sunday, but hell it was the most fun weekend I had in years

You look like you could use some sleep, there, Kotik. I hope you have the chance to catch up tonight.

So you were racing again?
Sounds like fun. I'm so glad you finally posted a picture.
You look like a young Tony Soprano (from the TV show "The Sopranos"! Very nice.

@justTripn: You must mix up something there
I'm not one of the three goodlooking blokes. I'm the balding fat man, who looks knackered and smokes a cigarette. And I must say, this photo is actually flattering
It sort of hides my beer tank (otherwise known as enormous belly)

I'm married to a bald fat man, so no need to apologize. Of course you shouldn't smoke and drink

It's a lost cause. <sigh> Hey Kotik isn't there a fic about a Vulcan airplane that needs writing?

Re: The Happy News thread
Kotik, if that Beer tank comes honestly by devoted drinking of good German beer you should be proud of it. Muncih during Oktoer Fest you would be an outstanding man.
I see you were drinking Pilsner Urquelll. GREAT draft beer.

@JustTripn
While I call it a beer-tank, my big belly is actually the result of long exposure to an antidepressant called Mirtazapin. One of it's side-effects is 'significant increase of appetite', so basically it stems from a drug that made me want to eat, even if I just devoured a horse.
While I smoke too much for my own good, I'm not actually a heavy drinker. I like a beer or twelve on occasions like last weekend (although for obvious reasons only after I was done with my racing for the day) and sometimes I like a cool one when watching a race on TV, but that's about it. I'm trying to get rid of the gigantic airbag, but it's not that easy. And people laughing at me, when I go jogging (aka wobbling all over the place) is only one of the nuisances.
@Warpgirl
There's a lot of stories to write, but I'm currently in a bit of a writers block - quite a big bit actually :S
@Silverbullet
As described - it doesn't come from the beer, but it certainly doesn't help with getting rid of it. Yep, I drank Urquell - I actually brought it myself. Since the whole event is a community event (german Grand Touring Forum), we bring the goodies ourselves and I bought the much more expensive, but much better original, while others brought heaps of the cheap and nasty regional stuff, which I usually steer clear of. It was much appreciated by the great unwashed

Mirtazapin made me drop weight like a stone. Then again 99.9% of the time, if the list of side effects of a drug says one thing, the opposite will happen to me. The stuff also gave me night terrors. But at least you're doing better Kotik. Hopefully the writer's block will pass soon.

Well, I had the occasional nightmare, too, but thankfully not that often. But when they happened they were hideous

Re: The Happy News thread
Well truthfully, I don't remember much about when I was on it. I was on two other extremely powerful narcotics and a host of other things. Bone surgery will do that to a person. But mostly I'm just glad to be off of it all. I still struggle with my depression at times, but I'm much better off the meds than on.
Happy News: Hmm. The weather is absolutely fantastic where I am. Not too hot, not too cold. Just perfect.
