IDK, It's bad enough Catwoman and Batman will probably never work out perminently. And they have much more valid reasons not too. Why can't anyone stay together! Blondie and Dagwood seperated for a while. Barbie and Ken broke up for a while. Can't anything just stay solid in popular culture anymore! BTW... What did that person put in their coffee to think up such a story!

Clark Kent (aka Superman) and Lois Lane couldn't possibly be married. Consumating the wedding would kill poor lois. Think about it.

Catwoman and Batman would have a beter chance.

Well, I'm back from my trip to Washington, D.C. It was fun and interesting, but the coming back home not so much. I caught a cold on my vacation but didn't feel that much of it when I was away, except in the evenings. Then the last few days I also developed a cough. And for some reason the repeated changes in pressure on the plane rides home aggravated it (at one time on a three hour stop in Copenhagen I was practically deaf on one ear).

So when I was finally home I really felt sick and haven't been doing much besides trying to sleep and watching TV during the weekend, feeling pretty miserable the whole time. It's better now, and I guess I should be thankful I didn't feel this while in D.C. I also still have one week left of my vacation, so I don't have to go back to work tomorrow.

Thanks! And no pandas. Didn't have time for the zoo. But I spent an entire day at the Air & Space Museum!

I'm sure to come back. A friend of mine recently got a doctorate scholarship and will be moving to D.C. in August and I'll be sure to visit him.

I dunno, Kennedy Center of Performing Arts doesn't sound like my cup of tea...

OK my day has been equal parts "Happy News" "Upsetting News" and "Whine." Where to put such a day? "Randomness" of course. So where to start... "Happy News" I think I finally got the AC troubles at "church" licked. I brought a heating pad under my legs, and I barely twitched.

"Whine" Mama and I keep snipping at each other.

"Happy" I can finally vaccume from a wheelchair Occupational Therapy actually did something good for me for the first time in 27 YEARS!

"Upsetting" My vaccume only stays charged long enough for one room at a time! More "Upsetting" I was cleaning my desk, and dropped the keyboard behind it.

"Whine" It took an hour for me to pass it up and get it on the desk again.

"Happy" Had a good idea for supper, Shrimp, pasta, tomatoe cream sauce.

"Upsetting" Came out more like: Shrimp, pasta, tomatoe cream soup.

"Whine" Had to break out all my frozen veg and fruit to cool down the bowl so I can put it in the fridge.

I'm completely beat. The irony is, this should have been a Great day, now I'm sitting here wondering what went wrong!

Oh Joy. today we will have a high of 116 degrees F. Our first 120 Degree day is coming. About time I started to wear shorts and a Tee around the house. Aren't you all just mad with envy. Sitting in your nice cool weather a high of 75 degrees.

Well, it was 100 degrees in my parked car when I left work today, with 100% humidity. Dunno what that is in heat index terms, but all I can say is I know how you feel, SB.
