So close to where I used to live! I have pictures of my son on that beach when he was 2 years old. He's 15 now. My husband and I worked in Venice too. Cool!

I wonder if Disney World has changed much since I was there?

That was back in 1979 when I was only 11, btw! Shock

Well, they built Epcot Center since then. Did they have the monorail when you were there? I can't really remember much of my one and only trip there--other than Michael Jackson's Captain EO video was one of the "rides"...

How about this one? I'm not sure--get them to march up and down a bit...

^ Yeah, the monorail was there. I loved it. It felt so futuristic riding in that! Smile

Lucky. They wouldn't let the guy I was buddies with on a school trip and myself ride it (in 1987) because we didn't have tickets for one of the other sections of the park and weren't staying in their hotel. All we wanted to do was ride the monorail once around and back to the part of the park that we had paid admission for, but no, we couldn't do that. Sad

I did get to go on the ride into the big Epcot Center ball, though.

Laughing

I can prove it later! hehe. I have a video on my camera that I took while we were driving in the car (no, no Pam and Tommy direction!). I was driving and trying to take a picture of her but it was on "Record" so it started recording video, so I just let it. It's not very long... right now I'm at my sister's friend's house, Lisa, while they are out drinking. She has internet, wahoo! Very Happy

Guys, leave him alone. I can vouch for Elessar. He's been talking about this friend for quite a while. And she IS wearing his hat.
