Well one thing that struck me about the whole thing is that we never saw Trip actually get to hold Elizabeth, while they were on that station he was kept seperate from T'Pol and the baby. When they finally got back to the ship his arm was in a sling and Elizabeth was isolated. So yes while I'm sure they each remember every last second, their contact was so limited that it just adds to the tragedy and pain they're enduring.

T'Pol has a much better advantage of having the time to hold and bond with Elizabeth, I think her monologue will be easier to write.

I like those Missing Scenes too. But I'm just going by the timeline we saw in Terra Prime for May We... Who knows I may even write a missing scene like that myself one day. But for this particular story it wouldn't work.

Panyasan I hope you don't think I'm minimizing your experiences. My own with this sort of thing has always been rather on the outside as an aunt. Certainly nothing to compare to the emotions a parent goes through. As a matter of fact, I consider your thoughts that much more important on these subjects. I hope you will give me a long and harsh (if necessary) critique when Chapter 6 is posted.

Although the ceremony isn't until the end of Chapter 7, Chapter 6 deals a lot with what Trip is going through with his grief. I truly hope I did it well.

Chapter 6 has just been submitted to post! I should have chapter 7 typed up within the week. Assuming I get some inspiration for those monologues of course. Still waiting for the right words to come. Fortunately it's the last scene of the chapter.

I like the relationships in this. Trip is very likeable. T'Pol's a bit clingy and I still can't see her as a "matriarch", but I'm willing to suspend disbelief. Excellent job. I'm looking forward to the next installment.

And now I feel so bad for not commenting before. I'm getting very bad about that. I'll try to do better from now on. I really have no excuse except that sometimes I'm too lazy to think of a useful critique and I don't see the point in commenting when I don't have anything semi-intelligent to say. While I think our dear WarpGirl might be giving her inner drama queen a tad too much leash here I'm with Distracted on the topic of commenting stories. I usually only do it if it is so good or so bad that I feel compelled to add my two minor currency units. But what makes me reluctant to review is that utterly ridiculous capcha thing. It is there as a measure of security, but the words are so ridiculously difficult to decipher that it surely discourages a lot of people from adding a quick comment.

Hey! First of all, that isn't my "inner drama queen" she's been asleep for the past 24 hours. I honestly have a hard time truly believing anyone would review me, especially the people I admire most. That's why I rarely beg for reviews.

And I know Kandahar isn't exactly on any top 10 travel lists so our dear Transwarp had better focus on staying safe. Reviews in the grand scheme of things aren't that important. I can wait.

Reviews are a nice thing, after all they're more or less the "payment" for the hours of writing that we spend on our stories. What I wanted to point out is, that we would probably see more of them, if it was easier to enter them. I know that I would comment more often if it wasn't for the word-riddling.
