Problems with posting comments on stories

I have not been able to post a comment on a story for quite a while. The latests problem is this:

I put in my User name, drop down to the white comments box and on the first letter I type in that box it suddenly widens to twice its size. Itis now outside the margin line. I cannot get the box to go back to its original size. I cannot post a comment. I have absolutely no idea how the box widens to that size. There has to be a reason but I am illiterate on these things.

Which browser are you using, and which version of that browser?

Using Chrome. Not sure what version, have to check.

Have you tried a different browser?

It is likely a fault on your machine somewhere. I am able to post comments using all major browsers on Mac OSX and Windows machines.

If a different browser works then something is corrupted in your Chrome install and you should try and uninstall and then reinstall it.
