My (somewhat) triumphant return
Hello everyone,
I am pleased to announce that after many months of crippling stress and health issues (brain cancer and heart attack scares are no fun, luckily both came back clear), I have returned. (Though it would be nice if my hair would stop falling out, I'm too bloody young to be bald!) I'd like to apologise for having very much neglected my duties in recent times, but I am hoping to once again contribute to the running of this wonderful little archive and its incredible inhabitants. It has been a trying time for me, but having just re-read HR's "Reconnecting" series, I have been reminded of just how special this little fandom is. Long may it continue.

Welcome back, and I am pleased to hear your health issues are behind you. (Where they belong.)
In a marvellous coincidence, I have just STARTED re-reading HR's Reconnecting series, which is one of my top TnT stories of all time. I'm on chapter three, and I think I'm enjoying it even more than I did the first time through.
A special fandom, indeed.

Very funny, Scotty. Now beam down my clothes.

Re: My (somewhat) triumphant return
Dark, I think I express the feeling of everyone in knowing that you are new here, and the relief of all in learning that you return triumphant (and I really think you can say that).
And the closeness of all.
And the closeness of all.
Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four
And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

Re: My (somewhat) triumphant return
Thanks guys, while it turned out that I wasn't in fact struck down by cancer or heart failure, I had a good few weeks where it certainly seemed that way. The headaches were the worst bit, they were absolutely unbearable. I had weeks and weeks of constant nausea, loss of vision (I'm pretty good at using a screenreader now hehe), loss of motor control, the works really. Two days before they were going to start really probing and prodding me (having not found a good reason for it yet), it all stopped. Literally overnight. I've still got the docs baffled over that one.

Re: My (somewhat) triumphant return
So sorry to hear what you have been going through! Hope all is resolved soon, and that it is all cery fixable!
You have a hairloss issue, too? I have alopecia, so if I can help with that issue at all just give me a hollar. Unfortunaltely I have a bit of experience with that.

Oh can I just say, I've had many experiences like that myself. Congrads that you're on the mend. I'm sure they'll still want to do poking and prodding, but hopefully these troubles are gone for good and they can just stay baffled. Even if it does annoy them so, but that's half the fun!

Some of these people haven't taken their medication. Let's see what happens now...
