yeah, it's an old and "industrial strength" test. It's been used for a lot of things, as we were saying, job placement foremost. It's considered pretty reliable, I think.

That's cool that you got Artoo! You're the first! So many Spocks! I got Kirk :D. I also got Ravenclaw, on HP house btw!

Well, to tell the truth, the description it gave for my ISFJ was frighteningly accurate. Well, except for the interior designing and clothing part... The rest was really dead on. :o

Our marketing people don't seem to last long because of the intensity and travel, or they thrive on it. R&D, where I work, can be awesome when it comes to the brainstorming/design aspects of the job since we band together and really drive each other's creativity. Suffice it to say that we're made up of fairly "young" people. Not too many people come here to rest before retirement!

On topic-y:

Looks like I'm a Ravenclaw, too (not too big a surprise!). Why am I sad that I'm not a Slytherin? :(

Emberchyld, there must be a bit of the naughty in you for being disapointed about Slytherin. Could be a bit of the pirate in you? Cool. Me? I am in the counting-the-days-til-retirement group. But that does not mean rest for me. It means more search and rescue work with the Coast Guard Auxiliary, trying a stint at full time writing, planning fun and 'educational' adventures with the grandkids. I got Gryffindor, Spock, INFJ, T'Pol, and Luke Skywalker on those tests and still don't know more about myself, LOL. Guess I am still just a geek and clueless!

I had my husband take this test and he came out ENTJ. Don't think we had any of those on here either. Again, the description was just about dead on. It explains why sometimes we have our "moments" as a couple. We're just about complete opposites! :o He's a "born leader" and I'm a "nurturer" I've always found behavior and these types of things interesting, though. 8)

Wow....I'm the only ESFJ here.

I thought for sure after meeting a few of you at Cherry hill there would be more extroverts here.

Everyone here seemed pretty talkative.....or maybe that was just me.

To tell the truth, I've always been painfully shy, but for some reason recently, I don't seem to be as much so. I still definitely prefer one on one or small groups, but I don't seem as worried about people's impressions any longer. I still definitely think of myself as reserved, but some of the things that life has thrown at me has made me less worried. I don't know if that's good or bad, though. For the record, you and I only had one letter different so that's pretty close. 8)

Y'know, I'm a major introvert, but I tend to become more extroverted around kindred spirits (as L.M. Montgomery would say). And the Cherry Hill convention was packed with lots of kindreds!

Well, I think I was the only one who always believed that all Snape needed was shampoo and a girlfriend and he'd be an okay guy. Plus, I'm convinced that they're not all bad... I can change them. Yeah 8) . And, I think it's the need to feel "cooler" than what I am. I mean, seriously, a Ravenclaw? Naw, I look too good in green :D

Hey, green is my favorite color, Emberchyld and that is not just because I like Vulcans, LOL. And now Harry Potter, like Enterprise is over. Well, I suppose they will make the last couple of Harry Potter movies.

Yeah, I got 88 in Ravenclaw and 80 in Hufflepuff. 78 in Gryffindor and 61 in Slytherin.
