I will have to look up season three but wasn't the second Episode the Xindi.

How does that track with ARcher theft of the Warp coil other than to complete the
enterprise mission to find and destroy the Weapon and possibly defeat the Xindi.

No, no, no, the second episode of the third season is "Anomaly", you know, the fancy one with Archer torturing a prisoner. The one with the pirates attacking. That is the analogy.

I call that one the one where Malcolm stands around like a moron episode.

I'd like to think that Archer told Degra after they rendezvoused that "Oh, by the way, there's a stranded ship and these-and-these co-ordinates. Would you mind getting there and giving them a warp coil as soon as possible, with my sincere apologies."

First Flight was on today and I have to say T'Pol was a perfect Vulcan especially suggesting they name that Nebula after Robinson. A more tragic loss was never made on ENT. Trip doesn't count beacause it isn't real. However God why does Archer have to be a bloody orator ALL OF THE TIME. Even when he's having a conversastion he's making a speech. Meanwhile A.G. goes up against Starfleet and the Vulcans and TALKS and his words have more wieght to them. I know oritation is a part of being Captain but there is a time and place. Not everything is a speech.

Back to T'Pol, she confuses me about her position on Sim... Thoughts?

I watched First Flight today, too, and thought the same thing. T'Pol was great in that one. She can sense that Archer needs to talk, and she's a great listener. It was VERY cool of her to think about naming the nebula after Robinson.

I LOVED Keith Carradine as Robinson too. I liked his father too. RIP David Carradine.

A.J. Robinson's little finger had more commanding presence than all of Archer. He should've been the captain of the NX-01. But alas, his father didn't build a warp engine... Politics!

I kept saying "Archer you're not Marc Atony, in Julius Cesar. And SB you are no Marlon Brando, or Richard Burton." I haven't seen Similtude yet, but I know T'Pol raises a token objection to creating Sim, but is it sincere. I mean of course she doesn't want Trip to die, but shouldn't she point out that Trip knew he could be killed on this mission and planned accordingly?

AJ was head an shoulders above ARcher.

Still wonder why when Trip offered to go along with Archer he was turned down ARcher could have said yes easily enough.

Of course the writers wanted T-Pol along.

Yeah if only they had written her as a competent scientist instead of having her say "Let's go back" every 5 minutes.

Probably wa saying lets go back because she didn't trust Archer and would have rather had Trip along.

That is one of the reasons I hated Enterprise so much at times that Damned ARcher constantly had to be everywhere and in every scene..

Personally I like the fact that she doesn't let the personal stuff get in the way of the job. Well, if you discount The Seventh, she doesn't.

Yeah, but The Seventh was a drug induced nightmare of T'Pol. That's my theory and I stick with it!

She raises two objections and Archer rejects the two. T'Pol doesn't argue any further, which I think is very Vulcan. She has said what she thought, he doesn't listen, that's it. Going on with the argument is pointless. Later on is obvious she doesn't have much interaction with Sim, that's what he points out when he's a teen. Again, understable, why would she have any relationship with a stranger? Is insulting to Sim, since she would only be friendly with him because he was exactly like Trip.

And apparently Trip is irreplaceable, which is a little insulting for the rest of the Engineering staff.
