Hey, the machine said I timed out while I was writing a comment here. What's up with that?
Anyway, I guess now I should put up a photo of myself at a costume party on Friday evening dressed as a 1960's hippie. Revisiting my misspent youth, I guess.

Heather (my daughter) had a K Mart sparkly witch costume, but I didn't want to do that because I thought it rather redundant, LOL, kinda like us dressing up as Indians. We don't wear our pow wow outfits as costumes. The workshop I gave on Saturday moring on 18th century Scottish folk customs documented in Robert Burns' 1785 poem "Halloween" went so well they asked me to repeat it Saturday afternoon. The Samhain ritual Saturday night was very meaningful and the workshop on Sunday that Heather and I attended, was extremely interesting. It compared Native American nature spirituality with European nature spirituality. The weekend was great except it was a bit on the cold side - 31 degrees at night. That's December weather! I felt sorry for those who were camping out in tents. Heather and I went motel camping.
Working on a major fan fic project. Two-thirds done. Hope to put it up in the not TOO distant future.
