Plus, I got to have Trip make a Captain's Log entry ... something he's not done before (to my shock and horror...)
I tried to come up with a legitimate way of having the red/yellow conditions be Trip or T'Pol's idea, but ultimately decided against it since it would be, IMO, too much fanwank. I have to admit though: I much prefer the nuBSG way of having "conditions" ... "Action stations! Set condition 1 throughout the ship" is just cool sounding...

Thank you kindly.
I am really curious of to know how the stories that Rigil is writing will arrive to close the circle traced in Elysium.
A sole problem: and if it ends?:

That's a couple of questions ... I'll answer as best I can. First, as to how many
Endeavour fics remain until I finish, I can't quite answer that yet. The current fic begins on 24 Dec 2157. The E/R War ends at some point in 2160. That leaves all of 2158 and 2159, plus however much of 2160 that I devote to the war. I know the names of the next two fics after
Medea (another two-parter ... although the way this one is planned to end, it could be said that this is a three-parter. The next two are
Endeavour: Amaterasu and
Endeavour: Xolotl respectively.), and I know of a couple other "names" I plan to use at some point down the road (
Camlann, Gehenna, Tartarus.) There are a couple of major events that still have to take place (the battle of Galorndon Core and the battle of Cheron, for example). And, of course, there are some casualties yet to come...
As to the question about what happens after the E/R War ends, well ... I have some ideas about that, but honestly don't know whether I'll write them. If I do, they won't be
Endeavour fics, so to speak, as
Elysium establishes that CPT Tucker & CDR T'Pol resign from Starfleet after the war. Things will make more sense in that regard come Act 1, Scene 3 of
Medea ... once I write it, that is.
Is that what you wanted to know?
