1st off.....don't listen to the critics.
If you like the movie's Legend, Princess Bride, *insert and other fantasy film here* go see StarDust.
I actually really was quite surprised and really liked it.

The straw weaving classes are actually in a classroom at the university where I work instead of at the festival grounds. The Irish Fest Summer School is during the week before the actual festival - things like bodhran, fiddle, step dancing, Irish knitting, Celtic history, and literature classes. It is convenient for me to teach the wheat weaving classes in the student union meeting rooms. I just emerge from my IT job in the Data Center in the basement of the Engineering building for a couple of hours and then return to it after I clean up all the straw left on the floor after my class!
